American Fork Marina

Entrance to the Marina    by Eric Huish    ŠEric Huish

Description: Views of the North end of Utah Lake. The American Fork River enters the lake here. There is an $8 day use fee or $1 walk-ins to visit the Marina.  There is a parking area outside the entrance to the marina for walk-ins.  The Marina isn't big so walking in is usually the better deal.  The road you just drove down is also a nice place to bird.  Just park outside the marina and walk North along the road.

Directions: Take I-15 exit 275 (Pleasant Grove) drive West about 1 3/4 miles to the T in the road and turn left.  The entrance to the Marina is less than a half mile down this road.

Birds: Western Grebe, Spotted Sandpiper, Swallows, Yellow Warbler, Blue Grosbeak (fields along road north of entrance)

Rare Birds: Snow Bunting, Long-tailed Duck
