Late departure, new arrival

Hi UCBers,  I saw a male Hooded Merganser at the Timp wastewater treatment 
plant today. Is that late? Also at the plant were Savannah and Vesper 
Sparrows, some Dowitchers, and all the expected stuff.

I had two male Lazuli Buntings show up at my feeders today (April 25).  The 
exact same day two males showed up last year.
