Strange Mourning Dove

I have many mourning doves visit my feeding station.  Now and then, I'll see
one that has a narrow black collar much like that on a ringed turtle dove.  In
all other aspects this bird has mourning dove field marks.  I looked in five
different field guides, and none of them had a picture, or a description of a
mourning dove with a narrow black collar.  Anybody out there know what I'm
looking at?
