Thanks to the recent posts, I decided to go on a Snowy Plover safari.
On the Antelope Island Causeway (now Exit 332 off I-15), I found 13
Snowy Plovers roughly between mile markers 6 and 7 on the north side.
The plovers were running around like mad in the greenish vegetation.
They were visible at good range from the road, unlike most of the birds
currently along the causeway. A scope is still advised. Two
Semipalmated Plovers were also present.
