Hi, I live in Escalante, UT and I have a bird that just showed up at my
feeder two days ago that I am 99% positive is a Dark Eyed Junco. The thing
is, it has some white markings around it's eyes. The white parts are the
eyebrow with three white stripes toward the crown, and the cheek. I've
looked in a number of books, but cannot find anything that looks like these
markings. Is it possible that it is a juvenile? Let me know what you
think. Thanks
Jessica Grow
