Hi All,
We took a quick run by Steinaker Reservoir just north of Vernal this morning (11/14/2004). We saw Canada geese, mallards, both goldeneyes, common loons and mergansers, a ring-necked duck, and two juvenile white-winged scoters. One of the scoters was hanging out with a pair of greater scaup. The reservoir is really low so you need a scope to see the water areas very well from the pull-outs along the highway.
