With most of the Green River frozen and all the impoundments frozen, very
few birds are around.  The following was seen within the survey route:

Canada geese  517
Mallard        2
Northern harrier     2
Coopers hawk         1
Bald eagle             3
Red-tailed hawk   2
Great blue heron  1

other animals of interest:  otters  2
