Hi Birders!
I'm not sure if these birds were reprorted in December when seen, but if
they weren't, and owing to the fact that wintering birds occasionally do
just that, winter in one area, here goes:
On the Zion Bird Count, a Yellow-throated Warbler was seen and
well-documented by John Spence. Also, a Varied Thrush was seen by Ken
Hinton.
For more info, ask Bob Showler at bob_showler@nps.gov.
Good birding!
Josh Kreitzer
P.S. The results of the St. George Christmas Bird Count are available at
the Audubon Society's Website. Thanks again to all who participated!
