Swamp Sparrows - Utah County

I stopped at the Timpanogos Wastewater Treatment Plant on my way home from work today (3:00 P.M. 12/06). I Saw at least two Swamp Sparrows at the very southeast corner were the water empties from the settling ponds into Utah Lake. They were feeding in the weedy area at the edge of the Cattails. There are lots of Song Sparrows in the same area and at least one Tree Sparrow. Other birds at the water treatment plant included Hooded Merganser, DC Cormorant, B Kingfisher, YR Warblers, and lots of blackbirds and gulls.
To get to the Timpanogos Wastewater Treatment Plant take the Pleasant Grove Exit off I-15 (exit #278) turn west go strait through the next intersection then turn left after the railroad tracks.
Hours- 7:30-4:00- Closed Sunday.
