long-tailed duck 12/4/02

The long-tailed was certainly admired by a goodly number of folks today.
 I. too, got to see the duck in the late afternoon.  I stopped at the
pygmy owl canyon Alton mentioned, but my pygmy owl call needs a lot of
work--I'm sure he/she was sitting out there somewhere laughing his head
off!!
