Bryan, Lee, and I saw the RUFF this morning at about 8:30am at the described site west of Corrine, Box Elder County. The site is 1.2 miles west of Stinking Springs at the south end of Little Mountain on the south side of the highway. It was in a flock of 15 Killdeer. It's easy to tell. Thanks goes out to those BRMBR CBC participants who found the bird and reported it.
The Surf Scoter and Long-tailed Duck were still along the south side of the Antelope Island
Causeway.
A WINTER WREN is now wintering along the Provo River Parkway Trail in Provo Canyon
near Canyon Glen Picnic Area. It is in the same general area as last year. A pink marking ribbon was conveniently found tied around a tree trunk near the spot.
