Sabine's Gulls

We checked the Antelope Island Causeway again this morning, but the Ruddy
Turnstone was nowhere to be found. However, there were 2 immature
Sabine's Gulls along the Causeway, both on the south side, one at the 2
mile marker, the other around mile marker 3. The latter Sabine's (MM3)
was last seen flying north out of sight after being flushed by a carload
of kids.
Nothing of great excitement at Garr Ranch, other than a few Townsend's
Warblers. On a sadder note, we found one of the two fawns lying dead on
a trail near the bird feeder, cause unknown.
