BEAVER COUNTY

On Friday 9/28, a SABINE'S GULL was seen at Minersville Reservoir (MW).

DAVIS COUNTY

A possible PHILADELPHIA VIREO was reported at Garr Ranch on Antelope
Island, on Tuesday 9/25.  Also seen the same day at Garr Ranch was a
VARIED THRUSH.  (B&LF)

On Saturday 9/29 at Garr Ranch, an immature CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER and a
RED-EYED VIREO were reported (BB, TJ).

A SABINE'S GULL and a PEREGRINE FALCON were seen at the south end of
Farmington Bay in the southeast section on Monday 9/24 (B&GB, TJ, MW).

At the ponds at the west end of Glover Lane in Farmington, a SHORT-BILLED
DOWITCHER was reported from Wednesday 9/27 through Saturday 9/29 (BB, DG,
TJ, JVM).  A group of five STILT SANDPIPERS was also seen at the same
location on the 28th and 29th (BB, TJ).

At the Antelope Island Causeway on Saturday 10/13, a SABINE'S GULL was
seen at mile marker 2 on the north side (LW), and a RUDDY TURNSTONE was
seen about half way between mile marker 2 and 3  also on the north side
(J&KB).

JUAB COUNTY

A RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER was observed in the residential area of Fish
Springs National Wildlife Refuge on 9/27 (LW).

SALT LAKE COUNTY

On Thursday 10/11, a COMMON GRACKLE was seen feeding in a backyard in
Sandy.  The bird has been in the area near 150 West and 8300 South for
several days according to the report. (KL)

UTAH COUNTY

A GREEN HERON was sighted on Sunday 9/30 and Monday 10/1 (KCC, PF, EH). 
The bird was in a pond north of the road about 1 and 1/2 miles west of
Santaquin at the intersection of US 50 & 6 and 800 East.

On Wednesday 10/3, a HARRIS' SPARROW was seen foraging along the Provo
Airport Dike Road about half way between the southwest corner and the new
extension (EH).

WASHINGTON COUNTY

An immature PRAIRIE WARBLER was found in the willows at the inflow area
of Quail Creek Reservoir on 9/28 (DG).  The bird was relocated that same
day in the same area (MW) and seen again on 9/30 near the Harrisburg
Trailer Park bridge (RF).

Also seen at the Quail Creek inflow area on 9/24 was an immature
CLAY-COLORED SPARROW (RF).  Specifically, it was in the dry cove between
the willows and the cockleburrs across from the Harrisburg boat dock "C".
 The bird was last reported on Sunday 9/30 (m.ob.).

The immature CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER that was first seen on 9/22 in the
willows at the inflow area of Quail Creek Reservoir was still being seen
through 9/30 (m.ob.).

Additionally, an immature SABINE'S GULL and an OSPREY were seen flying
over Quail Creek Reservoir on Wednesday 10/3 (RF).

A RED-SHOULDERED HAWK was located in Washington Fields on Friday 10/12. 
The bird was on a fence post in a field west of the 3000 East 2000 South
intersection.  The bird also was seen in a large cottonwood tree in a
field to the north of the intersection. (RF, KW)

A SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER was reported at the sewage ponds along SR9 near
Hurricane on 10/11 (RF).

On Thursday 10/4, a RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER was seen in St. George.  The
bird was seen on a path next to Oil Can Henry's on Sunset Blvd. (LJ)
