Sandhill Cranes

My wife and I went for a ride this afternoon to Wasatch County.  We =
found Sandhill Cranes at 3 different locations, for a total of 5 birds.  =
The first location was just below the Jordanelle Dam in the wetlands =
restoration area, where there was a solitary Sandhill.  Just west of the =
bar at the far north end of Heber (1250 North, I think) we found 2 more =
Cranes.  Then to top the day off, we found 2 more on the road to =
Wallsburg. =20
Below the dam at Jordanelle, we also saw Pintails, Shovelers, Mallards, =
and a lone Townsend Solitaire.
It was good to get out and enjoy the weather before it changes (again!!)
