Lesser Black-backed Gull

Merrill Webb and I saw the (a) Lesser Black-backed Gull. At Farmington
Bay. It was about 100 yards south of the gate at the end of the west
dike road. The gulls were feeding on a bunch of dead fish and let us
get pretty close. There were two Glaucous Gull and a bunch of Herring
Gulls and some Thayer's too. Also the American Bittern was in the
first little pond on the east of the road by the entrance and there
were Bald Eagle all over the place and Doug Millar from KSL doing some
kind of spot about hunting. What a place! ~ Milton
