Skipper Bay Birdwalk on Wednesday

Tomorrow morning April 28th, those who would like to go on a morning birdwalk along the Skipper Bay Trail near Utah Lake can meet at 8:00 A.M. at the parking lot at the trailhead. To get there take Provo Center Street all the way until right before you get to the Utah Lake State Park. There is a street on the north side, turn here. Drive about 200 yards and you will see a sign that says Skipper Bay. There is parking if you turn west here. We will meet here. I went out for a Sunday walk along the trail and saw 25 species. Including my first Western Kingbird for the year and my first White-faced Ibis in the county so far this year. Also the Osprey was on the nest and offered wonderful looks. Come and enjoy a nice morning walk with the birds and see if we can see some early spring arrivals.
