Totally forgot to mention that we also saw a beautiful
PRAIRIE FALCON that was spotted eating its prey on the
ice. In our eagerness to get close looks at it, we
interrupted its lunch and it soared majestically off
southwest across the ice-covered beach. Wonderful
bird!
