We were fogged out of our trip to Antelope Island
Saturday morning, but with 4 Balds and 1 Shrike we considered ourselves on
base and running all day. Wasatch and Utah county teamed up to give us a
final score of 45 species. Most were regular birds, a number were
waterfowl, and a couple were we've-gotta-haves. Having a BYU student
who needed 200 species before the semester's end made it even more fun.
Our list follows with our 4 favorites high-lighted.

Now if we haven't had enough already, I hit spell
check and found out I had mispelled the Steller's Jay.
Webster suggests I spell it Stealers Jay. Maybe we could vote on
the spellings. This one sounds apropos to me.
