Field Trip reminders

Uintahs
Due to popular demand, we have decided to battle the weekend crowds and leave the field trip on its originally scheduled date, this Saturday, June 15th.  Dennis tells us that Mirror Lake is now unfrozen and all of the snow is gone.  Interested parties meet at the south end of the Provo Temple street parking at 5:00 A.M. or at the Provo River Falls in the Uintahs at 7:30 A.M.  It is an all day trip; plan accordingly.  Dress in layers.  It can be cold at higher elevations, come to think of it, the past couple of weeks have taught us it can be cold at lower ones also.

Owling
If you're interested in a couple of hours of Owling, circle Thursday, June 20th and meet at Beer Can Flats ( Payson Canyon Park) at 9:00 P.M.  Dennis promises us a couple of hours filled with these quiet feathered birds of prey.

Yellow Billed Cuckoo
Looking ahead, we will be searching for the Yellow Billed Cuckoo on Tuesday, July 2nd.  Join us and meet at the Shopco Parking lot off the main Spanish Fork freeway exit at 7:00 A.M.

Eastern Tooele County
Later in July, but the date is not pinpointed yet.  We will be going to Eastern Tooele County to review the birds in that area.  Details will follow later.

River Lane Warblers
Saturday, August 24th an early morning run to River Lane to hunt for migrating warblers.  Meet at the Sam's Club parking lot at the South end of University Ave. in Provo at 7:30 A.M.

Check your e-mail for info on other trips in the future.
