Message: I live by little cottonwood creek. I have a flock of about 8 Lesser Goldfinches that have been hanging around my thistle seed feeder, since I moved in about a year ago. Occording to the bird books we are far north of the winter range for them. Do you think they are hanging around do to feeder? The area has lots of tall trees also. I do enjoy watching them.
