California?

Feb 5: I saw a bird I think was a California Thrasher. Singing its
heart out in Half Way Wash. I was looking up at it from the path in a
small leafless tree. It was singing, and singing, and singing. The
bill was so long and from where I was it looked long, dark and very
narrow. The whole bird was a yellowish ocher color with white under
the bill and by the eye. The tail was long and dark. I climbed the
bank and from that angle, looking straight on, the long bill was curved
like a Crissel.... but the ends of the bill was very pointed. I have
never heard singing go on for such a long time. It was a great
experience. Let me know if you see a bird like this.

Note: A few months ago I saw this same bird in Bloomington, by the
little park in the area of the sewage treatment plant (along the
river). With the flood and displacement, is it possible it is the same
one?
