This morning at approximaately 9:00am I found 4 Red
Crossbills along Main Street in Leeds. The birds were perched on top
of a very large Utah Juniper, singing. The elevation at Leeds is
approximately 3600 feet and the nearest Ponderosa Pine is 8 miles away.
Crossbills, meadowlarks and Chukars all within a 4 square mile area.
Amazing!!
