Clear Lake

Last Wednesday evening Cordell and I had the chance to birdwatch Clear
Lake west of Fillmore.

Here is a list of what we saw :)

Long-billed Dowitcher
White-faced Ibis
Double-crested Cormorant

Pied-bill Grebe
Forrester's Tern
Mallard
Northern Pintail
Northern Shoveler
Ruddy Duck
Cinnamon Teal
Blue-winged Teal
Redhead
Red-winged Blackbird
Yellow-headed Blackbird
Bewick's Wren
Common Yellowthroat
Horned Lark
Mourning Dove
Northern Harrier

And my favorite...
a pair of Short-eared Owls
