My wife, Marilyn, and I just got back from a trip
to the Kolob Terraces, Blue Springs Reservoir and Kolob Reservoir. The inlet end
of the Kolob Reservoir held a variety of shorebirds and waders. The best
of these were two Snowy Plovers; got good, long looks through the scope, then
stalked to within camera range for photos. Other birds included; 14 Long-billed
Dowitchers, 5 Long-billed Curlews, 1 White-faced Ibis, 1 Marbled Godwit, 1
Black-necked Stilt and 4 Spotted Sandpipers
