The UOS Quick Chase to see the Red Phalarope has been called off, on
account of no apparent quarry. Glenn Barlow was out at the Marina site
and the west bridge from 11 a.m. today and saw no phalaropes of any
kind. Usually, Wilson's and Red-necked's stick around a while,
fattening up on brine flies and shrimp, before heading south. Of
course, we don't know how long these REPH's were even at their location
before Carol photographed them, either.
