Also,
the editor of North American Birds informs me that the Winter Season issue
will have a large lead/cover article on the birds and the rediscovery.
Apparently this has been in the works for some time now, but kept
"secret." If you do not subscribe, now is the time to do so! If
you still have some "doubts," this is probably the biggest positive thing to
happen in the North American bird world in the last 50 to 75
years.
(BTW, anyone out there want to go looking for Passenger
Pigeons??)
