Birdtalk is a forum to discuss birds, birding, and topics surrounding these
subjects. Hunting does come up in some conversations, and in most cases it
isn't too promote, but to educate, which goes along with the stream of the list
serve. As long as people aren't out right trying to piss people off, or
getting off the topic of "birds", which could and can include many aspects, not
neccesarily birding related, the occasionally draw from jsut birding shouldn't
be a big deal.
A basic piece of advice for everyone, if you don't like the subject line, don't
read the email, and if the topic is off birds, please email it through back
channel, don't post inofrmation that isn't pertenent. I for one have talked
about hunting several times, but only in regards to other emails, and the
majority of the emails I do send are back channel, unless the info is something
I think people need to be educated on, much like Bill is trying to do.
And hey it's November, time for Pacific Gulls, and Ocean Ducks, let the finding
begin.
Good Birding
