Black Duck hybrids

Not sure whether it's anything to get excited about, but we saw a pair of 
American Black Ducks at the Nature Conservancy preserve near Kaysville 
this afternoon.  On closer inspection however, they displayed a 
white-bordered speculum, so we concluded they were probably hybrids.  Not 
countable, I presume...
