Hi,
I went chasing the BB Plovers reported by Kris, but not this time again. I wonder if I will get to see one this year?
Not a bad trip however,
Along the causeway,
Snowy Plovers at the first puddle on the south (8:00 AM)
Short-eared Owl around mile post 4 (10:00 AM)
Burrowing Owl on some cement also around mile 4 (10:00 AM)
Garr Ranch, (11:00 AM to 3:30 AM)
Northern Waterthrush
Townsend's Warbler
Wilson's Warbler
Cassin's Vireo
Plumbeous Vireo
Warbling Vireo
Willow Flycatcher
Cordilleron Flycatcher
Western Wood Peewee
Red-breasted Nuthatch
Hermit Thrush
Green-tailed Towhee
Lark Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Western Tanager (female)

Garr Ranch was active despite a noisy family reunion.
