Whenever we drive to the Uintas, we stop along route 150 between mile marker
10 and 11 after passing Jordanelle Reservoir, to check the progress of a
Red-tailed Hawk nest on a power pole. On June 4th we could see 3 downy young
birds just beginning to get their juvenile feathers. Yesterday, the nest was
gone except for a few baseline twigs. Does anyone know what happened to this
nest? On the June 4th sighting road work was going on near that section of
highway.
Deedee
