Pomera Fronce and I went to Hyrum Reservoir on Wednesday afternoon and got
the Red-throated Loon. It is not in breeding plumage, darkish cap and
very white face and throat. Lots of gulls and Western and Clark's Grebes
on the reservoir. We also saw a Caspian Tern. We did not see the
Red-necked Grebe.
On Monday, April 21, I found a Blue-winged Teal couple at the Salt Lake
Marina west of Saltaire. They were on the first pond on the left as you
enter the marina area. Pomera saw them again on Tuesday.
Good birding y'all,
Julie
