It seems that rare birds come in bunches. Kirk Earl took a photo of an Owl that he saw in Card Canyon off of Logan Canyon on Saturday. He sent the photo onto Nancy Williams to be identified. Early thoughts were Saw-whet Owl. However, upon further review it is thought that it may be a Boreal Owl. Boreal Owl has been reported but never confirmed in this area, near Tony Grove, etc. Please review the photo and weigh in on your thoughts of the Owls identification.
