We finally received some much needed snow.  Now the mule deer, elk and
pronghorns are easier to see;  and I saw some birds too.  The following
birds were seen within the survey route:

Canada geese   183
Mallard   4,400
Northern pintail   60
American wigeon   2
Common merganser   5
Great blue heron   2
Northern harrier   5
American kestrel   1
Bald eagle   8
