Prothonotary Warbler

Today at Lytle Ranch there was a Prothonotary Warbler That I watched and photographed on and off for about 1 1/2 hours.I last saw it at about 9:30 AM. It was at the pond working it's way around the tree trunks and roots along the edge of the water. The bird would disappear at times back in the thick brush but would eventually come back out to the edge of the pond. If you go down there be there early because by 10:00 it starts to get very hot. If it stays around probably your best chance to see it is to just wait in the shade of the trees for it to show up.
