W-T Sparrow, gulls

The White-throated Sparrow was still hanging around in Francis this
afternoon.  It was seen along 1000 East about 50 yards before reaching
the house with the feeders.
At the feeders on the Alta bypass road in Big Cottonwood Canyon we saw
about 25 Gray-crowned and 4 Black Rosy Finches this morning (11 a.m.)
Yesterday at the Bountiful landfill, we saw many Herring and Thayer's
Gulls, a first-winter Glaucous Gull and a first-winter
Glaucous-winged/Herring hybrid.
