If you want a Snowy Owl and don't want to go to Minnesota, where one is
hanging out at the Duluth Airport, there was a Snowy seen today at
Pawnee National Grasslands. No, I wasn't there; I was with the SL
Birders in the VERY dead SLC Cemetery (pun intended). Pawnee is
located about 2 1/2 hours east of Denver. The Snowy would have been
more exciting than the magpies.
