A nice surprise today in Central was a 1st year Broad-winged hawk. Yesterday
in St. George Rick Fridell and I saw a Black and White Warbler and a
White-throated Sparrow. Also around yesterday were several late birds that I
haven't seen in probably a month. Yellow Warbler, Green-tailed Towhee,
Hammond's and Western Flycatchers and a Summer Tanager. Maybe the big storm
blew them back up from California.
The G W-f Goose was still in the Washington Fields Yesterday too.
