Brandt

We saw the Brandt at Bear River MBR this morning (Thursday).  We found it
exactly where it was being seen yesterday (6/10 mile west of the viewing
platform at the southeast corner of the auto tour loop).  The bird had
the markings of a "Black" Brandt adult.  Also of interest, as we were
heading back toward Brigham City, we saw a large group of about 600
Double-Crested Cormorants.  Half of them were in the river, and the rest
were flying over.  Quite a sight!
