LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCH

This afternoon around 4 pm a visiting birder from Washington state reported to me a pair of LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCHES in the town of Kanarraville, Iron Co. This is about 18 miles south of Cedar City. She saw the birds very well and certainly described this species to me. She is familiar with the species from California. They were seen along the street between the LDS Church and the Red Lodge R.V. park about a half block west of the main road. She is planning of staying there for about 3 more days and will keep me posted if she sees them again. If anyone is interested in trying for this bird contact me and I can give you her cell number.
