Cannon Rebel Digital Camera

A few months or so ago someone said they had a new Cannon Rebel Digital
Camera and they were going out to take pictures.  If that person is you
would you mind letting me know if that camera has worked out as well as
you anticipated.  I need (in my opinion) a new camera and I would like
to gain a little insight into its actual operation as compared with the
advertisements for it.
