Brown Pelican - Newcastle Reservoir

Charlie Sheard and I saw an immature brown pelican at Newcastle Reservoir 
west of Cedar City in Iron County today between 10 and 11:30.  It hung out 
on the south side of the Reservoir, and flew from the far bank to the close 
bank and then settled in the water on the south end.  If you go to look for 
it, be careful - it seemed plenty skittish for a pelican.  Also there were a 
pair of Common Mergansers, an osprey, and a loon.
