Migrants

Over the weekend there were several migrants showing up in Washington Co. At Lytle Ranch there was a pair of Common Black-hawks back, also there was a Bell's Vireo and a couple of Ash-throated Flycatchers along with many Lucy's Warblers. At Welcome Springs there was a male Costa's Hummingbird and a few Black-chinned Sparrows. And at a private residence in Gunlock there is a pair of Vermilion Flycatchers that appear to be going to nest in the area.

Good spring birding,

Larry Tripp
