I made it to Farmington Bay today and the Road Closed sign wasn't up. Don't know if I had some bad luck the other day or I ran into a prank. Watched all the great Eagles, what may have been 2 Ruffs, but I really think they were Yellowlegs. They were biting and chasing each other in the water and even in flight. (When I put the picture up, maybe you all can tell me what it is for sure). The very entertaining Ruddy male was still there. What kind of Gulls are those hugh brownish ones? The Northern Harriers were all over the place. I nearly got a great picture, but a car zipped by and of course, he flew. Darn, he was even close-standing on a carp 20 feet from me wondering what to do with it. Didn't see the Barn Owl today:( Then I went to Antelope Island and finally got decent photos of the Snow Bunting. Left there too late, ended up in terrible traffic... I'll bet the birds wonder why we migrate along the same route (I-15), morning and evening over and over again.
