Several Lincoln's sparrows were observed on
9/15/03 at the Scott M. Matheson Wetlands Preserve (Moab, Grand Co.) along the
trail to the Colorado River. At least three barn owls were observed 9/14/03 near
the Moab Golf Course. The lighting was bad, but this is a family of owls nesting
near the Moab Man petroglyph along the road to Hidden Valley. The owls were
foraging in the residential construction area just north of the golf
course.
