Owls - Salt Lake City

I'm interested in information on owls in the City Creek / east / northeast
Salt Lake City area. A friend said he saw a Great Horned Owl and I had
never heard of these in our locale.

Is anyone on the list really good on the subject of owls? What type DO we
have here in Salt Lake City?

I'm love to talk to someone about these unique owls!!
