The indigo bunting that the Beyers reported seeing at Ouray NWR last weekend
is still there, singing away from the patch of flooded cottonwoods and
shrubs between the boat ramp and Leota Bottom. (thanks for the report and
good directions, Joel and Kathy - I would have missed it otherwise!) I was
less lucky with the bittern and green heron, but the chats, kingbirds, teal,
grosbeaks, etc were all still around.
