Eastern Kingbird

While not as exciting as seeing the Least Tern, at around 8:00 pm (this
evening), I had prolonged views of an Eastern Kingbird at the southeast
corner of the Provo Airport Dike.  More will be showing up all over the
state; this is the first I've seen this year in Utah County.  A
Black-crowned Night Heron was also seeing flying in the area.

Dennis Shirley led another great field trip on Wednesday (May 21)--new year
birds where seen by all of the 37 participants.
