Bear River

Fellow Birders:

Sunday afternoon ( ~2 - 5 p.m.) my wife Christi and I traveled to the
Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. We saw many Tundra Swans (a few
1,000) on northern impoundment in Unit 1, what a sight! Among other
species we also saw several Great Blue Herons (~5), Northern Pintails
(many), Hooded Mergansers (at least 3 pair), a glimpse of a Falcon
(Prairie?).

Happy birding.

Matthew Wallace.
