I stopped by the Goshen pond at 8:00 am and found the 5 swans. One has a neckband but with a spotting scope the yellow spots are visible. There were canvasbacks, common mergansers, buffleheads, common goldeneyes, great blue heron, redheads, cinnamon teal, and an American avocet. It is as close to swans as I have been in a while. Still worth the trip. The turnoff is at 11130 west. Jack
