Message: Friday March 9th,  11:00 a.m.

The Black Scoter is still at Mona Reservoir.  It was swimming alone on the 
East side of the dam, quite close to the dam.  I agree with Eric H. that it 
appears to be a first winter male (from what I could compare in my field 
guides).  It was a lifer for me.  Also seen: pintails, common goldeneyes, 
buffleheads and 2 bald eagles fishing.
